Parhelion honors Ichikawa Danjūrō V's "Costume of the Night Watch" from 1781—voluminous black robes bearing the character "kin" (金) that transformed the actor into a guardian patrolling darkness. The sculpture embodies this duality through three parts: a central mask with two halves that open and close.

「幻日」は1781年の市川団十郎五代目の「夜回りの衣装」を称えています—「金」の文字を持つ豪華な黒い衣装が役者を闇を見回る守護者に変容させました。彫刻はこの二重性を3つの部分で体現します: 開閉する2つの半面を持つ中央の面です。
